The President of the Assembly, Ilir Meta, participated in the planting of new seedlings of the company “Besa Agro Invest” in Fushe Kruja, a modern farm which develops its activity in the field of agriculture. The Speaker of the Assembly was accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Water Management, Edmond Panariti as well as local leaders. The Speaker of the Assembly was more closely acquainted with the process of planting young seedlings and working conditions, where in the future the number of employees will go up to 500.
In his speech, Ilir Meta said that such investments create conditions for employment in very good conditions, creating stable and permanent income for the families of the inhabitants of the area. “I am very happy to return here together with the Minister of Agriculture, Panariti after less than four months to witness real, concrete and rapid transformative power of public-private partnership, especially in the field of agriculture, where, in less than four months, not only is the planting of more than 28 hectares of fruit trees with certified seedlings of European standards, but at the same time, and soon as possible will be the investment for the construction of greenhouses for the production of vegetables, these investments based on the most advanced technology, with a high level of expertise.
